All loving relationships should be celebrated. I will work with you to incorporate the sensitive use of symbolic rituals, readings, poetry, music and personalised vows to create a moving ceremony that recognises the love that exists in an enduring partnership and publicly reaffirms a life long commitment.
 

A Renewal of Vows is often held on a significant wedding anniversary.  A couple who wed while overseas may wish to reaffirm their vows in front of their extended families when they return home.  Celebrating the longevity of a loving relationship with friends and family gives a married couple the opportunity to publicly declare their continuing commitment to each other in a special ceremony.

I also conduct naming ceremonies. In many cultures, a child is not recognised until it is named. Different names have different meanings and it is thought that a name can imbue an individual with some of the characteristics associated with the meaning of the name.

Naming ceremonies can celebrate a new baby’s arrival, renew an older child’s self esteem and give a sense of identity to step children and adopted children as they are welcomed into their new, or extended, family.

Naming ceremonies can also acknowledge adults who wish to change their name to one that has greater personal significance. I have collections of poems, readings and rituals that will make a naming ceremony both significant and memorable.
 

Sensitively written eulogies can celebrate the life of a loved one who has passed away. I endeavour to capture the essence of the recently departed by talking with family members, listening to their requests and delicately guiding their reflections to capture the highlights of a loved one’s path through life. I work closely with the family to create a personalised, meaningful remembrance ceremony.
